Day by Day
Day 1 - Lima
Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 - Lima City Tour
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel to begin the city tour. We visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will embark on a guided sightseeing tour including the Cathedral, Main Square and the San Francisco Convent. Our highlight will be the visit of the underground vaults, known as ?Catacumbas? or Catacombs. Then, we will visit traditional residential areas of Lima, such as El Olivar of San Isidro, Miraflores and Larcomar. Return to your hotel.
Day 3 - Pachacamac
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Pachacamac. We will see the impressive Sanctuary of Pachacamac, the most important religious archaeological complex of the central coast of ancient Peru. We will get a chance to appreciate the monumental buildings and painted Pachacamac temple. The temple of the sun has a magnificent view of the ocean and valley. Also we will visit the valley of Lurin. Transfer to your hotel in Paracas.
Day 4 - Paracas - Nazca
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and transfer to El Chaco beach. There will be a very early morning excursion to the Paracas Peninsula, the most important wild life sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. A motorized boat will take you to the Ballestas Islands, where you will be able to observe southern fur seals, sea lions, blue-footed boobies, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and other sea birds.Transfer to your hotel in Nazca.
Day 5 - Nazca - Arequipa
After breakfast, transfer to Nazca airfield. From the sky you will observe the mysterious Nazca Lines of giant drawings of animals like a monkey, condor, spider, hummingbird etc. Scenic transfer to Arequipa and to your hotel.
Day 6 - Arequipa
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel to begin the city tour of ?The White City?, we will visit the cathedral, the main square, San Francisco complex and the famous viewpoint of ?Yanahuara? where we can appreciate the beautiful city. We will visit the Monastery of ?Santa Catalina?, which was entirely built of volcanic lava. Return to your hotel
Day 7 - Colca Canyon
Early in the morning, depart on a wonderful trip to the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest Canyons in the World (3180mt.). On the trip we will drive across the Pampa Ca?ahuas in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, inhabited by herds of vicu?as and alpacas. Upon our arrival at Chivay, we will continue to the hot springs called ?La Calera? (medicinal hot springs) located 15 minutes from town. Then we return to Chivay you will be able to take a rest at your hotel. In the afternoon, you can visit the town.
Day 8 - Condor Cross
Day 9 - Arequipa - Puno
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Puno. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Day 10 - Islands of Lake Titicaca
After breakfast, small group tour to the islands of Uros, a group of reed islands made from tortora reeds . With a small community dating back to a pre-Inca culture, the people will demonstrate their ancient way of life and customs. The boat ride will continue onto Taquile Island (not recommended for people with walking difficulties as the trip includes a 3 hour trek at altitude). The people of Taquile are related to the Aymara people of Bolivia and you will be able to interact with the local community, buy from their small shops and perhaps learn about their weaving skills. Return by boat to Puno in the afternoon and to your hotel.
Day 11 - Puno - Cuzco
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to your hotel for an evening of leisure.
Day 12 - Cuzco City Tour
In the afternoon we will visit the city of Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the main square, the cathedral and the temple of the sun or Korikancha. Then, we will drive out of the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, PucaPucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco. Return to your hotel.
Day 13 - Sacred Valley of the Incas
Early morning excursion to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas.Visit the picturesque Indian Pisac Market held every day, the shopping paradise of the Andes where bartering is still practiced. Enjoy the unique atmosphere during a typical lunch. In the afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we will visit the Inca fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley, and protect it from possible invasions of the tribes in the lower jungle. You can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby town. On our way back to Cusco we will stop at the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero to visit the ruins of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. Return to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 14 - Machu Picchu
Day 15 - Cuzco - Lima - Home
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and connecting flight home.
Day 16 - Titulo 16
A 16 day 15 night guided tour to some of the most amazing places on Earth. The trip starts with a tour of the capital city of Peru, Lima. We then head south of Lima to Paracas, also known as the mini-Galapagos because of its islands and ocean life. Next, we’ll take a short drive to the airport to fly over the gigantic Nazca lines. The tour continues to the Colca Canyon (2nd deepest in the world), where you might see the world’s biggest bird; the Condor. The second destination is the world’s highest navigable lake, beautiful Lake Titicaca. The final destination the Incan capital city of Cusco and one of the NEW 7 Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu.
